The Listening Body Experiment
EXPLORATIONS ON LOVE + THE SONGS THAT SHAPED US

Workshop
About
The Listening Body Experiment is a 4-month virtual container for the deep feelers, sapiosexuals, third culture kin and minds of the lyrically inclined.
A digital community (sub)space where we’ll dive into open discussions and practices around embodied pleasure, unprocessed pain, and the pursuit of play to explore what exists on the other side of self-permission, with music as a healing gateway.
We’ll revisit nostalgic albums, contemplate modern thought, and explore psychospirituality through breath, dialogue, and lived experimentation. Not to arrive at definitive answers, but to give language and movement to what’s been living beneath the surface.
A living laboratory and group soundboard bridging together soul development, spiritual praxis, and the love songs that subconsciously shaped us.
A field study in expanding our inner capacity and emotional range for more aliveness and fulfilling relationships.
Think part music league,
part philosophy class,
full-time listening lab.

INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE
There’s a language our bodies speak long before our minds can name it.
This experience is designed for the lovergirls who value inquiry as much as answers.
Together, we’ll explore various frameworks, perspectives, and “working truths” not as rigid doctrines to adopt, but as invitations to experiment with in real time and relationship.
Over the course of four months, we’ll move through four distinct Heart States — each one a different study in feeling, form, and (re)connection:
Heart-Reclamation — reclaiming exiled parts through shadow work and conscious reframing
Heart-Reciprocity — practicing boundaries, mutual care, and relational awareness
Heart-Rupture — transforming heartbreak and grief into openings for growth
Heart-Rapture — exploring sensuality, intimacy, and erotic wellbeing
This Experiment is an invitation to listen — to your breath, your bones, the music, and the memories.
To feel what’s been waiting to move.
To remember what it means to be human, again.
There are no overpromises or prescribed outcomes here.
The practice is in the participation.
The insights emerge through lived experience.
This work asks less, “What should I believe?” and more, “What becomes possible when I allow myself to honestly explore?

WHO THIS IS FOR
This space is for the perpetual learners and curious hearts who value continual rediscovery.
For the children of immigrants, third culture kin, and those who’ve lived between cultures, identities, expectations, and multidimensional ways of being.
The ones raised between ancestral values and western individualism.
Who grew up on R&B, neo-soul, underground hip-hop, conscious rap, poetic lyricism, and the kinds of songs that made you feel seen before you had language for why.
You follow the accounts.
Read some of the books.
Save the quotes.
Maybe even understand yourself intellectually in fragments.
But what you crave is a space where your wholeness can meet some wordplay.
Where inner work feels less clinical and more sensorial.
Where you’re given permission to question, listen, experiment, play, and try new ways of relating on for size.
A place to not only think about life differently, but to feel, embody, express, and integrate it more fully.
This space is for those seeking more honest relationships with themselves and others.
For the ones who understand that healing, intimacy, and selfhood are not fixed destinations, but living conversations.
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
This is not a place for optimization, linearity, performance, or spiritual superiority.
Not for those seeking certainty over self-inquiry.
This container asks for self-responsibility over projection and the courage to sit with complexity rather than bypass it.
You do not need to have everything figured out to belong here.
But you do need openness, vulnerability, and the willingness to listen to yourself and others with care.
What to bring
Emotional presence and a willingness to explore without needing all the answers
A playlist or collection of songs that left an imprint on you
An open body-mind and curiosity toward what arises
A journal or note-taking space dedicated to this Experiment
Headphones to fully tune in, especially during our Sonic Ceremonies
A quiet, comfortable, and private space where you can feel grounded and uninterrupted
A computer, stable internet connection, and free Zoom account for live sessions

why this is different
Most courses explore one dimension of the human experience in isolation. This one studies the relationship between them all.
Rather than teaching you how to “fix” yourself, this multi-layered container invites you to deepen your emotional capacity, expand your relational awareness, and reconnect with the parts of you that may have gone unheard beneath performance, pressure, or survival.
This journey is not about self-improvement, but soul-development alongside a community that shares your depth, vision, inquiring pace, and sound taste.
Less self-help.
More self-return.
