(( Subtle Body ))

ON THE PRACTICE OF ARTFUL LISTENING

Ellipse 1.png

Workshop

About

(( Subtle Body )) is an intimate, multi-sensory workshop exploring the relationship between breath, body, and plant wisdom through the lens of attunement and inner listening. Held in the energetic threshold of the summer solstice, the experience invites participants to slow down their pace and reconnect with the subtle language within themselves and the natural world around them, creating space to process and arrive at their own illuminated truths.

Through guided breathwork, herbal tea ritual, somatic awareness practices, and reflective community dialogue, participants will be invited into a deeper relationship with sensation, intuition, and the body's innate intelligence.

As we strengthen our capacity to listen inwardly, we often gain access to a steadier sense of clarity, discernment, and trust in our own knowing. What possibilities exist when we are more resourced, have more agency, and more space to feel into what's here?

Together, we'll explore that question through the practices of breath, presence, and shared reflection. In a world filled with noise and distraction, the ability to perceive life's subtleties may be one of our greatest assets.

INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE

We will begin with a gentle somatic practice and tea ritual to support the nervous system, creating the conditions for the body to feel safe enough to soften and be seen. You'll learn about herbal allies and plant spirit communication as a relational practice for cultivating intuition, self-trust, and reciprocity.

We will then be guided into a breathwork meditation curated with a sonic landscape that transports us deeper into the body. Using breath as our tool, we'll allow the body to feel, process, and release what it has been carrying without the need for words. We land with a grounding tea and group reflection to close the container.

This experience invites participants to attune to themselves, their plant allies, and community while exploring what becomes possible through the practice of artful listening, remembering the network of support that exists both within and around us.

  • Those navigating transition, burnout, disconnection, numbness, or overstimulation & needing space for their body to process & feel

  • Folks longing for meaningful community spaces rooted in reflection, presence, & authenticity

  • People desiring to live more aligned to natural rhythms, in reciprocity & earth-based wisdom

No prior experience with breathwork or herbalism is required. The experience is designed to feel welcoming, accessible, and nourishing for both newcomers and those already engaged in personal growth or healing practices.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

This offering may not resonate with those looking for quick fixes, surface-level wellness trends, or hyper-individualized self-development spaces. While no prior experience is needed, the workshop does ask for openness, presence, mutual respect, and a willingness to engage thoughtfully with both yourself and the collective experience.

What to bring

  • Journal + writing instrument

  • Dress comfy, ideally nothing restricting the abdominal area

  • Your favorite small mug for tea (encouraged but not mandatory)

  • Eye mask or something to gently cover your eyes

why this is different

Rather than centering optimization or escape, this workshop focuses on attunement and inner listening. It’s less about “fixing” yourself and more about learning how to notice, feel, and relate to yourself with greater honesty and care.

Blending breathwork, plant ritual, sensory awareness, and community reflection, the experience is designed to feel more human, intimate and relational than traditional wellness offerings.

Think of this as a living conversation. Like friends coming together for a cozy afternoon of tea, knowledge sharing, witnessing, and simply being.
